The sound is crystal clear--as normal with Plantronics the sound is actually better through the earpiece than directly from the phone (ie. Plantronics understands sound. holding the phone up to my ear). I am using this device with an HTC Pro2 smartphone in a home office setting. Since this is my business phone sound quality is paramount and I am very happy with this device. The battery life of this device is excellent as advertised. I worried that the loose fit would affect the volume and that it might be too soft, but the volume seems solid and I am confident that I could crank it very loud when necessary in, for example, a noisy airport.I can't give this device a 5 however, because this things sits so loosely on my ear that it falls off I move around much at all--seriously, if I tilt my head to the right it will fall right off. Apparently this was designed for someone with a head twice as large as mine.I admit that my head is on the small size, but I am a full grown adult. There was no other option for earpiece in the "retail packaging" that I purchased. The device is easy to use, very easy to switch ears WITHOUT having to unsnap something that might eventually break.
i work in the utility industry. alot of hands on work. this device allows me to except an incoming call while continuing my task. no problems with interference from th high voltage static that I'm around.
He wears it all day at work. I bought this for my husband and he loves it. The sound quality is terrific. Light and comfortable. Good buy
I bought this for my wife, who is decidedly yestertech. It paired easily and quickly and is a cinch to operate. Reception is clear. In short, it does what it was designed to do.
After extensive research I settled on the Voyager 520.The sound quality rivals all the phones it's used with.I have purchased 4 four of these total, 3 were given as gifts.I didn't want my friends driving and holding a cell phone, it's a hazard. To be honest, talking to someone while driving is like having them in the seat next to you with the 520.All four of us agree that it's a very comfortable headset.Another issue worth noting is some noise canceling headsets don't play well with other brands with the same features. Not so with the Voyager 520.As it's been already stated the 520 comes about as close as you can to being perfect. I agree.
